Finally, A Step Ahead

The concept has been finalized, now we are going in for phase 2, which is, merchandise design.

We met with Mr. Jonathan Manilag, an up and coming, young fashion designer. His works are known in the showbiz industriy and his fashion collections have been featured in prominent local runways sponsored by the Fashion Institute of

the Philippines. He is a friend of Ryan, so we got a free consultation. Kudos to this guy for helping us making our visions into tangibility.

We came to his studio at around 2 pm. There were only three of us, JB, Ryan and me, RC. The receptionist told us to wait for a little while. At first, his accolades that hung on the walls intimidated us. But he recieved us warmly, he was very entertaining, and brainstorming with him was fun and smooth. There were no conflict, as soon as I explained the concept, he understood it right away, and there was creative input flying like piranhas on the Amazon.

I'm very excited about the shirt designs, and they will be reproduced before September 8.
Then we can proceed with the photo shoot for the ad.

But I can't tell you about them, else it'll spoil the fun. But just to give you a hint, "they're avant garde."

While we're waiting for the designs, we are going to polish our marketing plan, do the financial statements ( inventory, one year income statement ), talk to the photographers, and probably do the papaya dance. Shoobidoobidoop!

Here's some pics from the meeting. Enjoy.

An aerial view masterfully shot by JB.
Now everyone can see my receding hairline.

I'm getting too comfortable in his office...

He's not drawing anymore...

really JB, you're in the picture?

The Video Blogs Don't Work

We are going to try our best to upload videos from our not-so-daily brainstorming sessions and our consultations sessions with Mr. Tim Capellan. But with the technical capability of a caveman, by yours truly ( Had I put a comma, it would have been more dramatic, "yours, truly ) our videos will be stuck on tape form and you're not gonna be able to watch it, unless there is some lunatic who invented an "online video casette website", or a VHSTUBE.
